The first year of Uni is a chance to meet loads of people, try new things, and generally have an awesome time. Badock is a great place to do this so we hope you’re looking forward to the end of September as much as we are!
Hi, the three of us are your Hall CU Reps and we are living in Badock this coming year and are here to serve you, support you, and help you explore the claims and challenges of living for Christ as best we can.
(Left)
(Centre) Lindsay is slightly less interested in sports unless they involve cheesy chips. She was eaten (twice) by a plant in Badock’s musical last year and makes a habit of this (the musical stuff, not being eaten!). She studies Psychology so never lie on a couch near her...
(Right) Tom was a rower, but his failure to “man up” means that he now has some spare time. He does Civil Engineering (whatever that is...) and is a bit of a technical wizard. There’s nothing he can’t talk about (at length) but his speciality is unintentional inappropriate comments…
Our purpose as a Hall CU is to encourage one another and plan events in and around hall.
We meet every Wednesday evening to look at the Bible, explore its meaning, and see how it applies to our lives. We’d love you to come along at any point whether you want to listen, join in, or ask questions.
We’re really looking forward to meeting you all. We’ll be around during Freshers’ week so feel free to chat. Also look out for toasties, chillout space in the Library and other events which will be advertised around hall.
If you have any questions before September, please email us
